Dutch researchers studied the effects of different teas on the human body, their metabolism, fat burning process and energy consumption. After that research, they stated that the natural ingredients in green tea, oolong tea, and white tea etc. have compounds like caffeine and Catechins that supports in energy consumption, calorie burning, and fat breakdown process in the body.
Science is so much advanced and the food and nutritional experts are continuously finding good and bad effects of different foods. But their main concern is to find out more about those specific foods that boost weight loss, help good bacteria in the body and enhancing metabolism. This is because more than 60% of the people are suffering from obesity around the world. According to a PhD professor in Friedman School of Nutrition, Professor Jeffrey Blumberg, “tea is beneficial for your gut”.
Green tea is rich in numerous antioxidants that promote good heart health and aids in the fat burning process. It is recommended to take 2-3 cups of green tea in a day along with 30 minutes of exercise to shed twice much weight as compared to the people who don’t drink green tea. Same goes with other tea beverages. In fact, many of them contain even more benefits than that.
Again according to the Professor Blumberg’s research, people who drink 1 to 2 cups of tea throughout the day are more likely to have good mood, better focus, and attention. They also reduces the risk of certain diseases like cancer, high blood pressure, osteoporosis and diabetes. And the good thing is, these benefits aren’t limited to certain type of tea.
The most important thing to remember is, tea benefits are always higher, when combined with exercise, healthy and clean diet.
