The 59ht Annual Grammy Awards was held on 12 February 2017. It was hosted by James Corden while pre-telecast ceremony was held on the same day officially named The Premiere Ceremony. It was prior to the main ceremony and hosted by the comedian Margaret Cho. It was broadcasted live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles by CBS network.
The nominations were announced on 6th December 2016. In this ceremony, the recognition of best compositions, recordings and artists of the year which runs from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 were judged. Beyonce was the name in most of the nominations. While Adele and David Bowie won most awards.
Lady Gaga got attention in this ceremony. She was in a black dress along with high neck jacket clearly showed off her toned stomach and underboob. She wore fishnet stockings and thigh-high PVC boots. She finally lined up her statement look with a pair of sunglasses and blood-red lipstick. Jennifer Lopez was in a dusty purple gown by Ralph and Russo. Rihanna wore an orange crop top with black ball skirt by Armani Prive.
