Runway is all about beauty, style and glamour especially when we talk about New York Fashion Week. There is no shortage of pretty hair and makeup. In fact New York Fashion Week is an inspiration for other runways. But there were some looks on this runway that brave souls would not dare to try at home.
Thom Browne’s model was with the bold lips and brows while the theme was strips of woven fabric. Makeup rules were dictated so wrong by Anna Sui as she did cerulean smoky eye and crimson lips. At Prabal Gurung runway Diane Kendal’s eyeliner was above the eye lid. Usually eyeliner is made with eye but there was a negative space liner. There was enough space between eye and eyeliner.
Paint was splattered on the faces remember us an art gallery. There was wet hair look of models with no appropriate hairstyling. Some models had smudgy cobalt winged eyeliner. Jewellary was not in neck and ear but gripped in the lips. There were tears with a copper heavy metal effect. Tears were made up of golden color. At The Blonds the hairstyling remembered us ancient Egypt.
